So I’ve been seeing Chris for about two months now. His birthday is two weeks after mine in July and I surprised him yesterday with a very early birthday present. If you know me well, then you know that I’m terrible with keeping surprises!

Chris and I have been talking about artwork for his place. He complained that he needed something over his bed and brought up some possibilities. Of course he didn’t know the extent of my artistic abilities as he’s quickly glanced at some of the artwork in my room. I, also knowing what a huge Bob Marley fan he is, decided to paint him a large Bob Marley on canvas.

I thought the process would take me roughly 2 weeks so I planned ahead and bought the canvas & paint on Wednesday and started the background. I had some spare time on Saturday night so I worked on Bob and actually finished it the same night. All in all, it took me about 10 hours to do. He really loved it when I gave the painting to him.
